Synthetic market research, self-testable. Teaching and research project that uses digital personas as a wrapper around established AI models — instead of the direct chat console. This allows context, settings and samples to be controlled and studies to be repeated reproducibly.

The platform covers classical quantitative methods (conjoint analysis, MaxDiff, ANOVA, factor and cluster analysis) as well as qualitative methods (in-depth interviews, focus groups, projective techniques, eye-tracking simulation, Jobs-to-be-Done).

The tool is non-commercial and freely available at tool.unisurvey.de. It is aimed at teachers, students and researchers who want to try out synthetic market research themselves. The interface is in German and English.
